Clear protection on top of any printed graphic can be a good thing, but it's not always necessary. Some of the reasons lamination helps is because it simply protects the ink and surface from scratching generally. Also, in the case of outdoor applications it can have UV inhibitors in the material which reduces fading of the inks & colors. en just email it over.
Another reason for using laminate is that one can control the sheen of a project. So if the print is done on matte vinyl a layer of lam can be placed which is glossy, or vice-versa. Often times we see this in times when glare is an issue for the viewer or application and we knock it down by giving it matte on top. For vehicle wraps this can also add dimensional stability or allow for greater heating and stretching of the medias.
